Wedding Destination: ANYWHERE!

The latest buzz worthy mega wedding according to the media was almost definitely that of Kim Kardashian to beau Kanye West. As most of us probably know whether we wanted to or not, this wedding extravaganza took place in Italy, but what you might not know is that the occasion is rumored to have had an approximate $3 million expense.

Now, what you really should know, is that you too can have the destination wedding of your dreams without such major moolah. The biggest difference will be met in your travel arrangements and lodging accommodations. Be sure to book your flights and hotel stays as far in advance as possible to ensure that you are able to book early and save! Oh-and you don’t need to set up your guests in twenty different luxury hotels, feed them a four course meal, invite John Legend and Andrea Bocelli to perform live, or wear two custom-designed couture wedding gowns for the occasion.

If you’ve always dreamt of tying the knot abroad there is no doubt that one way or another you can surely find the perfect location, they say it’s a small world but there are vast amounts of hidden gems and each of those diamonds in the rough (no pun intended)is perfect for someone!

According to The Knot and WeddingChannel.com, in 2012 about 24% of weddings were destination weddings and though the average guest list was only about 85 names long the event was often three days long-or longer! This may seem a bit overdone but in reality, who wants to spend the travel time and money on a one-day event anyway? It only makes sense to turn it into a real vacation! So, pick your location, plan your wedding, and plan events for you and your guests to enjoy while you’re away-remember it is okay to be a tourist!

Here’s a Neat Idea:

Whatever you end up planning for your destination wedding be sure to take lots of pictures! A wedding in such a different and special location deserves to be captured forever without a doubt!

Now, it’s definitely time to begin the adventure of a lifetime, so venture out of Rochester and LET’S GO!
